Art Hub
The Art Hub projects help to improve the services for employment in creative industries, particularly for those operating in the arts and culture sector, and the services that support trade and entrepreneurship. Art Hub is also a pilot project for the development of arts councils and strengthens regional arts councils as a part of the network of the organisations that develop creative industries.
Customership, commercialization, marketing and financing are areas that will be especially developed in the arts councils.
Development work will be realized in national cooperation in two projects that receive funding from the ESF.
1. The Art Hub Project Consortium
The project is part of the subdivision of Eastern Finland in the ESF program for mainland Finland and is governed by the Arts Council of Northern Savo. It is partially executed by Sibelius Academy, the University of Kuopio and Ars Libera. The project is carried out between 1 January 2009 and 31 December 2011 and is divided into three sub-projects.

Luovain: the goal is to produce new information on the importance of creative industries for local economy and on the state of business operations as well as to produce suggestions for development and concrete operations models and indicators to aid the evaluation of the impact that the sector has
2. Art Hub –Creative Industries Collective
